Dresses that would look flattering on an A-CUP woman. I’m going to attend a wedding as a guest, and my friend would like me to wear a dress, but I’m not a big fan of dresses since I’m small-chested.

I have a lot of trouble finding dresses because of my shape – large chest, very small frame with very slim bottom half – very little curves.
what sort of dress do you think would look good on me?
i always have issues with the bottom half because everything that fits on my top is too big on the bottom, and vise versa.
any suggestions?

You should try the dresses which are made to snug your body, like a tight spandex, or strechty material kind.

Well, Late Edwardian dress tends to become more simplistic, so as long as you can sew a shirt following directions, you’ll have no problem following the pattern (especially the “drapy” dresses). The material cost varies, and you can even get those 1-2 dollar fabric at Walmart ans still make a great dress.
You don’t really need a pattern if you are experienced in sewing and familiar with period dresses, but a pattern would always be helpful and are fairly easy to obtain.

a wealthy girl would have had countless dresses. they would never wear the same dress twice & would change at least 3 times a day. morning dress, day dress, evening dress, nightgown…
but during the edwardian period a lot of women liked to dress like different nationalities like indian & greek so they would wear more simple stuff.

i would say KOHLS has very nice elegant dresses, they also come at a low price, also some other stores would be:
-ROSS
-JC PENNY
-HOLLISTER (sun dresses)
-DILLIARDS
